I absolutely love all things Fall! The cooler weather, the changing leaves, apple picking, pumpkins, Halloween, and all the scents that invoke Fall. So it is no surprise that I have a list of Fall household cleaning and scent essentials! These are my must-haves for the Fall season.

List Of Fall Household Cleaning And Scent Essentials
Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day
Apple Cider & Acorn Spice
I absolutely love all of Mrs. Meyer’s Fall line of cleaning products. My two absolute favorites being the Apple Cider and the Acorn Spice.
Not only do they always have a wonderful scent that makes cleaning that much more enjoyable they also make cleaning a breeze.
I especially love the fact that they are safe to use around my little ones and know that it will still clean just as well as the harsher cleaners on the market.
I always know it is officially Fall when I see Mrs. Meyer’s Fall line at the grocery store. Every time I see it, I make sure to stock up. Which means I buy lots of dish soap, hand soap, and all-purpose spray.
My hoarding behavior of Mrs. Meyer’s Fall cleaning supplies normally raises the brows of my husband to the notion of “really you need more” which always is rhetorically answered with YES!
I like to tell him that having something festive to clean with makes me want to clean more, which makes him semi accepting of my obsession! My thought process is, he can’t really discourage cleaning, at least that is my case and point when selling him on my stockpile.
I explain to Kevin, it is a seasonal obsession, and my stockpile is necessary for the limited time it is available. Which he says, I am exactly why they have “seasonal” scents in the first place. Because people, like ME, stock up before they put them away till next season!
If you are looking for a fall scented cleaner that works wonders, then I would highly recommend Mrs. Meyer’s. Something about adding a new festive cleaner to the mix makes cleaning a little more fun. At least in my opinion, especially when cleaning bottles!

Yankee Candle
Apple Pumpkin And Harvest Scents
So moving right along on my list of Fall Household Essentials, is, of course, candles. My two favorite fall scents from Yankee Candle are the Apple Pumpkin and the Harvest.
The Apple Pumpkin has such a warm and inviting smell that is just potent enough that you can smell it but not overpowering enough that you think someone is trying to hide some type of horrific smell in their house. I will say that it is my quintessential Fall scent every year!
Yankee candles Harvest scent is my second favorite. It smells of cinnamon. It always reminds me of those pinecones you can buy at Christmas time that smell like cinnamon and joy!
Since it is way too early to have the pinecones out, the Harvest scent is the next best thing. Kevin says that it reminds him of a fireball.
Either way, it smells amazingly Fall-ish. Though, I will mention that the Harvest scent doesn’t give off as strong of a smell as the Apple Pumpkin. None the less, it is still an essential fall scent for me!
Root Candles
Pumpkin Spice And Mulled Cider
I have to admit I have yet to find a
Root Candle that I do not like!
Since I have a small obsession with candles, I will move next to my absolute favorite candles for any season or time of year, Root Candles.
I only get these candles though, when I go visit my Dad in Medina, OH. Which every time that we make a trip there, I make it a point to visit the Root Candle Company store in downtown Medina. I always end up leaving with a handful or two of candles!
All of the candles that I have had from Root Candle have been wonderful, but I am more partial to the seasonal scents and love all they have to offer.
The Pumpkin Spice and Mulled Cider are two of their Fall scents that I have had multiple times and loved each time. They give off a wonderful smell, last a good amount of time, and are always my go-to Fall favorites!
Wax Warmer
Any kind will do in my opinion.
The last Fall household essential I have goes along with all of my candles. For those times that you want to have the candle smell but can’t have the candle burning for one reason or another.
Wax warmers are a candle lovers’ dream. Unless I suppose if you only like candles for the ambiance of the flickering wick. Then I guess they’re meh.
I absolutely love all wax melters and use them quite frequently. I personally own quite a few, because you let’s be honest, you need some on every level of the house, right? My wax warmer collection fits right in with my candle obsession!
I normally buy a bunch of votive size candles in my favorite Fall scents and cut them in half or more and disperse the wax throughout all the wax melters that I am using at the time.
Or if I am just using one wax melter, I will cut the votive candle in half and save the other half for another time. I feel like the votive candles last longer than the wax tarts or the melters they sell.
