It has become somewhat comical when Kevin comes through the front door from work and the boys meet him with joy regarding a new inflatable they have acquired. This always elicits quite an endearing look to me as to why. Since we obviously “need” more inflatables for our currently cramped display. I found a couple of deals on Amazon inflatables during the October Prime sale for the boys. I used the notion that one of the inflatables had been broken in all the wind we had. So we obviously needed to replace it with something!
My boys love nothing else than getting new inflatables! There is just something about the unboxing of a brand-new inflatable that they can’t get enough of. There are times that they will even assemble them back together just to unbox them again. I don’t think it’s quite the same. It’s still quite entertaining to watch them. Except for the times when there are “small” meltdowns when they don’t go back into the boxes as they initially did. Hard times!
Time To Pick Out New Amazon Inflatables Since We So Needed More 🙂
So the excitement for a new inflatable was simmering in both of their minds they picked out one in the price range we agreed. Grayson picked out a monster hand holding an eyeball with three skulls on the bottom. It looked interesting in the pictures and was within the agreed-upon price range so he was selected.
Mason really doesn’t have definite parameters of specific inflatables he really wants. It’s not about how big it is or what it does he just seems to do the old “close your eyes and point” method of picking. He ended up deciding on a pirate dinosaur inflatable. This seems to be a theme with his choices this year. He picked out a pirate dog at Lowe’s as well!
Oh The Anticipation for New Amazon Inflatables
I have to say I do feel bad for the Amazon guy because they love to watch his location on the app when he is 10 stops away. It feels borderline stalking if you ask me but hey they are 6 and 3! So when he finally delivered it around 7 pm they were biting at the bit to unbox them.

After a little help getting the tape off of the boxes, they were racing to plug them in. I will say that they were both really neat. The hand with the eyeball was actually very different from a lot of the ones we already have. The dinosaur is absolutely hilarious. He has a little “pirate hook” that looks more like a banana. He has now been named the banana pirate!
Sadly they had to wait a couple of days to actually stake them down in the front yard with all of their other inflatables. The wind here had been blowing quite hard and no amount of tethering could keep our inflatables stable. So when we had our first calm day out we went to stake down their new inflatable. They now have homes in our yard and are part of our ever growing inflatable collection!
Until The Next New Inflatable Additions
So until the next addition arrives to our already overcrowded front yard we are enjoying our new Amazon inflatables. I will say I think our neighbors are too as I have seen a few out front taking pictures. Now whether that is out of enthusiastic appreciation or utter disbelief I’m not sure!!
